News from Cape Cod

Hey, hey, it’s almost May! There’s much excitement in the air as everything has started to open up for the summer season. The Edward Gorey House, which
is always worth a visit, opened recently, then this week so did Sesuit Harbor Cafe. For those unfamilair, the cafe is idyilically located overlooking
Sesuit Harbor, where you can sit at picnic tables and watch fishing and pleasure craft come and go, while enjoying Cape Cod’s signature dish, Lobster
Roll. Of course there are many more choices, it also boasts a raw bar which opens at Memorial Weekend. The ice cream parlors have also opened, including
Smugglers in Dennis village for home made ice cream, sorbet, frappes and even ice cream cakes. Grab a sundae and enjoy it on one of Dennis’ beautiful
beaches. So much to look forward to this summer!

The whales are back already! Yes, even in late February North Atlantic Right Whales were sighted off Wellfleet. It seems like it’s going to be a bumper
whale-watching season if this is anything to go by.

The Melody Tent in Hyannis has just published 2016’s list of performers – always a great night of music in a very intimate setting. Click here to see if there’s anyone you would love to catch this summer.
